For a refresher, offensive efficiency is displayed as ratings relative to an average of 100 in yards per play. So the Hi-Steppers gained 37% more yards per play then the average team in 2019.
Defensive efficiency is displayed on an inverse scale, where the good teams are below 100. These numbers are also adjusted for strength of schedule, while offense is not.
The column at the right end of the table is the difference between a team's offensive and defensive efficiencies, in other words the sum of that team's percentage above average.
The Hi-Steppers were 37 percent better than league average on offense and 9 percent better on defense (numbers are rounded), for a total of about 46%.
